The public are advised to either call their local dental practice or NHS 111 to get urgent dental advice or an appointment within 24 hours (if their condition cannot wait for normal opening hours) for the following conditions:
- Severe toothache
- Dental abscess
- Broken or knocked-out tooth
- Bleeding in the mouth following a dental procedure
- Swelling
- Fractured, loose or displayed fillings causing pain
- Severe bleeding from gums
