- Helping you plan to cope with your caring role, including doing a Carer’s Assessment
- Support groups to put you in touch with other carers

- Discount therapies to help you relax and recoup
- Up-to-date information about local services and how to access them
- Regular e-bulletins
Information and advice about issues that concern family carers, including:
- Money and benefits
- National and local organisations offering information and support
- Local health and social care services
- Relief care
- Aids and adaptations
- Your rights at work
Coventry Guidance
Carers Trust Heart of England are a one stop shop to meet carers’ individual needs by providing information, advice and support, including an extensive range of practical support. Our information and advice service can help a carer to talk through their situation, advocate on their behalf, help carers to plan to cope with their caring role, including a Carers’ Assessment and we can also help carers plan for an emergency.

The aim of our service is to ensure that carers are supported in every way possible so that they are able to take on this vital role while maintaining their own wellbeing.
We help carers in a number of ways:
- Offering a Wellbeing Check – an opportunity to talk through your individual situation and help you plan to deal with your caring role while maintaining your own wellbeing
- Identifying training to help you in your caring role
