Blood Sciences Transformation
Migration to the new blood sciences analysers at the Hub Laboratory at CWPS Nuneaton (George Eliot Hospital) occurred on 25thSeptember 2022 and will include the following services:
- Biochemistry
- Immunology
- Viral Serology
New platforms for provision of these tests are being introduced, and much outpatient and primary care work will be undertaken at the Hub Laboratory.
The change of platforms means that new assays are not UKAS accredited. Please be assured that our assays will become accredited as soon as possible.
Some reference ranges in Biochemistry and Immunology are changing. The new reference ranges can be found on every patient result, and are also be available on GP Gateway. These changes have been discussed with appropriate clinical leads. In addition, Laboratory contact numbers at the Hub Laboratory, should you have queries or require advice regarding tests, are below:
