Fertility Preservation

At the CRM we offer sperm/egg storage for patients about to undergo a treatment which can render them infertile.

This can include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery and other toxic medications.

If you are concerned about the impact a treatment option may have on your patient’s fertility then please feel free to contact us for advice.

Sperm Storage

To refer a patient for sperm storage we require viral bloods, please ensure these are completed at your surgery and sent to us with an attached referral.

Viral screening must include:

• HIV 1 and 2
• Hepatitis B Surface Antigen
• Hepatitis B Core antibody
• Hepatitis C

The referral form for sperm storage is attached.

Oocyte Storage

For oocyte storage we require a written referral.
