List of Joint & Soft Tissue Injections performed & not performed in the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service at City of Coventry Health Centre
We do not provide clinics that patients can be booked directly from GP surgeries. All referrals will be triaged and if appropriate will be booked in for assessment prior to an injection

The list below contains the injections which we do not currently perform. If an injection from this list is required for a patient this must be referred to secondary care or Podiatry for consideration:
- Ganglions & cysts
- Small joints of the feet
- Elbow and sterno-clavicular joints in the upper limb
- Spinal joints or discs
- Trigger point injections
- Suprascapular nerve
- Coccyx injections
- Injections for meralgia paresthetica
- Hip and ankle joint injections in the lower limb
- Quadriceps, patellar or Achilles tendon
- Ischial or Iliopsoas bursa of the hip
- Morton’s Neuroma and MTP joint of the foot – refer to Podiatry
