Ultrasound (Non Obstetric Ultrasound Service)

An ultrasound scan, sometimes called a sonogram, is a procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to create an image of part of the inside of the body.

Ultrasound Holbrooks

Diagnostic Ultrasound Coventry (DUC) , an AQP service provided by Holbrooks Health Team,  performing abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, musculoskeletal, and small parts scans, will no longer be providing this service for Coventry & Rugby CCG from 1 April 2021.

Message from Dr Bettina Kleine:

I would like to inform you that Diagnostic Ultrasound Coventry will cease to operate on 31 March 2021. It was not possible to continue services under the new proposed contract for the scale of our operations.

Our team has provided diagnostic ultrasound across Coventry and Warwickshire for fifteen years and I feel privileged providing this high level service.  I would like to thank you for your trust and continued support over the years, and I would also like to thank my fantastic team who strived to excel.

The new community provider will take over from 26 March 2021 and referrals will be passed on to the new provider with immediate effect; this process is managed by the CCG.  Please note, as a consequence, we will be unable to rebook appointments for patients who failed to attend.
